Acquire real estate

Following the government’s recent lifting of the moratorium on the purchase of residential land by non-Seychellois nationals, a non-Seychellois individual or legal entity may purchase real estate in Seychelles subject to obtaining a permit issued by the Seychelles government.

Several criteria include:
A minimum market value of SCR 10 million for a property comprising a residential house.

A minimum market value of SCR 4,000 per square meter for unoccupied land.

A minimum and maximum plot size: 2,000 m² and 4,000 m² respective.

Permits granted are valid for one year from the date they were issued, during which time transactions must have been completed and registered.
